Getting Ready for a Guest Advent Calendar
Getting Ready for a Guest Advent Calendar
"The Advent House symbolizes more than good winter housekeeping. It reminds us that the "house" we really get ready is ourselves, our attitudes and our openness to embrace Christ's coming and receive him as the Lord of our life. What we re on the inside is reflected in what we do on the outside. We are like the houses we keep."
Each day has a different task to prepare for a guest, such as Clean, Polish, Bake, Cook, Brush, Mop, Replace, Repair, Change, and much more. Each one with a Bible verse, reflection, and prayer.
